Testimonials

I wanted to take the time to drop a note to tell you what a wonderful job the IT support staff here is doing. Years ago I worked at Nortel providing desktop support and know what a difficult job it can be at times supporting clients...

Managed Services Opportunity Program

At Carolinas IT, we pride ourselves on the high quality service we provide to our clients. Much of our new business is the result of referrals from friends and clients who feel like we could be of assistance to someone they know.  This program is designed to provide a small token of our appreciation to anyone whose referral results in a Managed Services client for us.

The plan is fairly simple, introduce us to a client and let us do the rest!

  • We will meet with them, ask some questions and determine if it makes sense to work together. As always, our approach is professional and very low pressure.
  • If the referral results in a signed managed services contract within 6 months of the initial contact, we’ll pay a referral bonus of 50% of the amount of the first month’s managed services invoice.
  • As an example, if a client signed a managed services contract for a $2,000 a month service, the person referring them would receive a onetime payment of $1000.
  • Referrals can either be made directly to any Carolinas IT account representative, but please copy company president Mark Cavaliero (mark.cavaliero@carolinasIT.com)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q. What is Managed Services?
    A. Managed Services refers to an arrangement where we take over specific duties for a client on a monthly basis. Tasks might include monitoring and management of a server, router, firewall or even a desktop PC. We agree on a flat monthly fee for the service and then perform the service for the duration of the agreement. It can even include items like data backups or unlimited helpdesk support!
  • Q. What sized organizations are good candidates for managed services?
    A. We typically work with organizations with between 10 and 500 computers, although we have larger clients who use our services as well.
  • Q. What if the organization already has an IT staff?
    A. We work with many organizations that have IT staff, we find that we are able to offload some of the more mundane tasks like monitoring, patching, or helpdesk support, so the IT staff can focus on their high priority initiatives. Especially with tight budgets, many of them are overworked and would welcome the opportunity to offload these types of tasks.
